Velvet Pines provides an insurance-backed
limited warranty (as required by FHA/VA) protection from
foundation to finish on your home. The Velvet Pines Home Warranty
is your limited assurance that certain aspects of your
investment are protected. All coverage is subject to exclusions
set forth in the warranty documents.
Solid Coverage
All Velvet Pines
Homes are built to meet or exceed 2-10 warranties, and
it covers all types of residential units
including
single-family, town homes and condominiums. Our warranty
is VA, FMHA and FHA approved.
The warranty also includes
one-year coverage for defects in workmanship and materials,
and
two-year coverage for portions of plumbing, electrical
and mechanical systems.
The warranty provides ten years
of insured protection against qualified catastrophic structural
failures. The warranty becomes effective at the time the
home is first occupied or first title transfer, and remains
in effect even if your home is sold.

You have the assurance and peace of mind of knowing that
every Velvet Pines Home is built as required for FHA
/ VA homes. This FHA / VA required warranty is fully
insured
through 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. Your Builder Provides This
Warranty
The total cost of Velvet Pines Home Warranty coverage is paid for
by the builder.
A Good Relationship
Our warranty agreement specifies a provision for impartial
arbitration through approved arbitration services, should
a disagreement arise. Good relationships among all parties
involved are our priority.

purposes and not intended as a binding agreement between

One year following the warranty commencement
date, the home will be free from any defect due to noncompliance
with the building standards or due to other defects in materials
or workmanship not regulated by building standards
Two years following the warranty commencement
date, the plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and ventilating
systems exclusive of any appliance, fixture, and equipment
will be free from any defect due to noncompliance with the
building standards or due to other defects in materials or
workmanship not regulated by building standards.
Five years following the warranty commencement
date, the home will be free from major structural defects
due to noncompliance with the building standards or due to
other defects in materials or workmanship not regulated by
building standards.
